- Have some burgers at a diner, they are one of the best parts of the US. My favorite place in New York City is Andrew’s Coffee shop, it has some seriously good burgers (including a pizza burger) and they have the best bacon in town. The people are nice and the place is near 34th street where macy’s, a huge Victoria’s Secret and a thinkgeek store are located. Andrew’s Coffee shop is also close to Madison Square Garden and to the Empire State Building some really cool places to visit as well.
- Go to fifth avenue. It is one of the most famous avenues in the world and the stores are great. You’ll see Tiffany & co., Gucci, an Apple store made of glass, the Rockefeller center, Saks and others. It is great, but at Christmas time it gets all decorated (trees get light up, showcases gain special decorations for the holidays and it even moves) and it is fantastic to see.
- Go to Central Park at fall/winter. Autumn makes central park’s trees colorful and by Christmas time they put an ice skate ring in the middle of it. Although it is very cold, it’s beautiful to see as well.
- Meet a different point of view of the city in SoHo. It is the coolest part of town because it is not made of huge buildings, but small ones made by lofts. The streets are not conventional, the stores are different and it has lots of art.
- Go see a basketball game at Madison Square Garden. It is so cool and has a lot of food and attractions. If you like to, you can order pizza (or another snack), they bring for you and you don’t even need to get up of your chair. During the breaks there is people who sing and competitions where you win prizes and guns that throw t-shirts. The players are like celebrities and they put you in the best vibes.
Those are just a few things to do in the city that never sleeps. Every experience is unique and beautiful in New York City.
